Two week residency with artist Richard Clegg at Rosedale College

Over two weeks a group of GCSE and lower 6th form students constructed an artificial tree with three trunks, to display the expected artworks, birds, insects, ivy from readily available materials such as buckets, wood and recycled water bottles.

We started by splitting the group and materials into three, working in secrecy each group created a trunk, bartering for materials from the other teams. We then combined the three tree trunks, then in smaller groups created the branches, twigs and animals.
